Jordan Awoye
Jordan Awoye, an experienced financial advisor and founder of Awoye Capital, has focused his practice on assisting individuals, athletes, and entrepreneurs achieve their financial goals. Along with his team, Jordan specializes in wealth management and asset protection. He is a graduate of Eastern New Mexico University, where he earned a degree in Biology with an emphasis in Pre-Medicine. While there, Jordan also received accolades for his academic accomplishments such as graduating with honors and receiving a letter from the New York State Senate for his scholastic performance, all while playing basketball on a full scholarship.
With a passion to help change the world through financial literacy and financial freedom, Jordan left the study of medicine to join the financial industry fresh out of college. After learning from the brightest minds in the industry, Jordan stepped into entrepreneurship and founded Awoye Capital and The Languages of Money. Creating a financial literacy and entrepreneurship education platform that teaches topics such as budgeting, debt, credit, investing, entrepreneurship, etc.
Alongside James Harden and Harden's philanthropic foundation Impact13, Jordan is currently leading 'The Financial Literacy Tour' providing financial education to students and people across the country. Sitting with people like Master P, Ryan Leslie, James Harden, and others to create easy to digest and relatable conversations around money to educate people.
Outside of managing money and creating custom investment strategies, Jordan speaks across the country in various capacities, such as a keynote speaker, educator or as a financial/business expert. Speaking at events or for organizations such the United Nations, Wells Fargo, 100 Black Men of America, NBA Summer League, etc.
Jordan has been featured on numerous media platforms for his investment expertise from Forbes to Yahoo Finance, CNBC, The Sun, and others. In addition, he periodically writes personal finance articles for American Express, CNBC, etc. He also has received his ‘Retirement Planning Specialization’ from the prestigious Wharton School of Business and has qualified to sit for his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Charter Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations.
